I [18] work for a restaurant in small town so the relationship between the boss and workers are a bit more personal. To clarify, he owns the restaurant too, and lives in the same building as it. I’ll do odd jobs for him when it’s not as busy to give me hours. So I’ve spent a lot of time working with him personally. His daughter [16] has a tendency to go in and out to of her house through the restaurant kitchen. I’ve always put her in the box as “Untouchable” for obvious reasons.
Inevitably we exchanged our glances and apparently she liked what she saw. One night after work she messaged me on Instagram saying “sorry if this is weird but i think ur cute,” I replied casually etc now we’re talking and have hung out a few times.
I feel weird about it though, his dad is my boss, and although it’s not a job I’m dying to have, I can’t help but imagine him getting furious with the idea of me being with her, affecting my work etc. on the other hand, it’s not like rejecting his daughter is a good idea either.
Am I just imagining a fairy tail “farmers daughter” scenario if this works out? Any input is helpful, what do I do
