A guy I haven’t seen in almost two months, is trying to “catch up” with me. Long story short we’ve been on four dates, spent the night at one another’s place, did everything but sex. Last I saw him was at his place when I spent the night and he dropped me off the next morning at my place... said he’d talk to me soon. All I got was texts randomly every couple weeks “you up” etc.
All the booty calls were fails because he’d text too late because I was either sleeping or already with friends for the night
Last weekend we were supposed to see one another but I had friends in town from Cali, so I told him next weekend, and he said good.
He texts me yesterday and said: me and some friends are getting together for trivia if your not busy. Would love to catch up before the weekend
I said: already have plans, but can meet you after for a drink, otherwise I’ll see you Saturday
He texted me: I’ll be done with trivia at 9, and can meet up any time after
Him: what’s your status? Me: headed to midtown soon, you trying to meet up? Him: 100% Me: nice, I’m leaving (place I was at with friends) soon
no response from him
3 hours later, 12am he responds: Good talk
???? What ???? I don’t understand
He’s 23, I’m 24
TL;DR: guy I haven’t seen in months wants to “catch up” before Saturday, supposed to see one another last night but no response until 12am from him “good talk” don’t understand
