So I (25M) went out on a second date tonight with this girl that a friend introduced me to. We went to a concert of a cover band that was fun. It was a small venue and standing room only. She’s big into dancing, I’m not a very good dancer so she and I danced in place next to each other.
Towards the end of the night we held each other to a song which was nice. Then as we were waiting for our ride shares to pick us up, I tried to go into giving her a kiss. She turned her cheek and somehow turned it into a hug of sorts with our faces (cheeks) next to each other. I was really hoping for a kiss tonight and was struggling with the right moment to initiate more physical contact.
Am I overthinking this? She’s had partners in the past but it’s more so been people she’s decided to just sleep with. Maybe to her this is different? Should I ask her? What should I do?
