I was over my female friend's house total of six of us girls and guys. I am 22.
When I was leaving it was just me and Michelle's mom, I guess Michelle told her mom about the fact that I never had a girlfriend yet and Michelle's mom took upon herself to give me advice. She basically started saying that I am a great guy that women will be lucky to end up with. She said that I am smart, and caring that I would be a great father and husband.
She told me not to give up on dating, that I will eventually find someone. She said that not all guys can get someone young and beautiful, she said that when women are younger they chase after a guy that is hot and crazy. But when they are older and just aren't looking for the hottest guy, that they will be standing in line for me.
To me this made me even more depressed I guess she was trying to cheer me up. But it is like sweet I can get a single mom after she chose to have kids with the hot bar tender and I can pick up the bills. I don't know it just seems really shitty. Like I would rather be single forever than be with someone that wouldn't have given me a shot when she was younger.
