So I (29M) am really into this girl (25) that goes to my gym. For months we've exchanged glances, smiles, waves, and quick pleasantries, but nothing overly substantial.
For the first time the other day we actually had a long conversation. There was even a moment where someone else interrupted (not rudely, just to ask her something) but she made sure to circle back to me and continue the conversation before our class started
This was the first time we actually talked to each other about our jobs, interests, etc.. which is why it stood out to me, that and the fact that it felt like we really hit it off well.
We left class together to walk to our respective cars and I was extremely tempted to ask her out, but I didn't. I felt like it was too soon because that was really our first meaningful interaction. I don't want her thinking that I just ask out any girl at the gym that talks to me, because truth is I definitely don't.
The actual truth is that this is the first time in a long-ass time that I've met someone who I actually want to ask out.
Did I make the right call? Or did I potentially miss out/send her a mixed signal by not asking her out?
