So i’ve been talking to this boy for a bit and we’re both aware that we take interest in each other however, nothing has been progressing. We text all the time but nothing happens. Every time i think we’re getting somewhere, we just go back to where we began. I’m getting sick and tired of this cycle and i feel that i’m losing interest but I still really enjoy talking to him but not in a special way anymore. Idk if i should move on or put in extra effort. But every time i feel that i put extra effort, he doesn’t do anything and I end up getting hurt. What should i do? is it worth it? We’ve also discussed this before but nothing happens after opening up to each other. I just feel that I’m wasting my time talking to him sometimes knowing this is not going anywhere.
(also he was the one who took interest in me first. I was open to get to know him more after acknowledging his feelings for me but now I feel after the getting to know him stage, we’ve been stuck in this stage for months with no progress and he treats me as a friend nothing else.)
