Guy’s behaviour when looking for only a hookup versus seriously dating a girl?

Are there any distinguishable behaviours or habits that guys show when just they want to have sex/see someone very casually, rather than when seeing a girl he considers ‘girlfriend material’? Especially in the very early stages of dating, before sex happens.
