I've (28M) always considered myself a more thoughtful, analytical, dare I say more intelligent guy - which typically serves me really well in life and my career. This is especially true when it comes to learning anything new, having deep conversations, or breaking concepts into their various parts in order to understand them more fully and from different angles.
I feel other people with similar minds also tend to be more self-aware and as a result more aware of others' thoughts/feelings.
Because of this though I also notice that friends who don't have the same type of mind/personality seem to have it easier in a dating sense, especially in the initial flirting stages. They also seem to be less choosy about their partners since they don't spend as much time thinking about what it is they really want.
How does being a thoughtful, analytical guy affect your success in finding your "ideal" girl - and your dating life in general?
