I (25, F) recently met a guy (29,M) and we only spent one night together but I’ve never felt a connection like it with someone before. He was so genuine and complimentary and just an all round what I’m looking for kinda guy. We have a lot in common and it was the first time I left thinking that this could really go somewhere. He messaged not long after saying that his depression has hit an all time low and he’s not in the right space but that he thinks I’m incredible etc etc. I kinda just said I understood when really I was gutted. I want to reach out to him and just say when he’s feeling in a better space, even if it’s just as friends to get in touch. I never get like this about anyone and I don’t want to be selfish by telling him this but I feel like I will end up regretting it if I don’t as I can’t stop thinking about him. I felt more in one night with him than I did in the 6 months with the last guy I dated. Any advice would be great :) thank you
