I met this artist at a art festival a few weeks back. We both do the same kind of art and we were talking. I also had a boyfriend at the time and we now broke up. I thought he was really cute and he gave me advice on how to get better. Since then I've initiated contact with him over social media a few times and we've had kind of short conversations. One night we were talking and it was late like 1am and when I woke up he had responded. We talked over a day ago he didnt respond to my last message.
I'm not sure if he would be interested or not because he lives far away and seems invested into his work. He performs at shows and has a big one coming up for new years eve. I dont wanna make things weird by saying I like him even though we live far away the small art community we are apart of we know the same people so I dont want it to be weird in the future if he just rejects me or if if doesnt work out, but I also think hes really cool. I havent seen any indicators that hes super into me and I'm not gonna keep messaging him either.
I hope someone can give some advice on maybe what I should do.
