Disclaimer!!! This is by no means an attack or anything like that. I’m extremely irritated and would just like to hear the other side to try and rationalize it
Why is it such a common practice to not just tell the man who has asked you out no and create some story or something? Sometimes I understand you could be frightened that he may take it the wrong way and turn violent which is understandable. However when you’re on a dating service and someone asks you out on a date why
“Ohh yes I would live to sounds like a great time”
on the day of the date
“Oh Billy I’m sorry I’m just not in a place to date right now”
Why is that such a common thing? I absolutely hate having my time wasted. I couldn’t give two fucks if you tell me no, just straight up and foreword. However taking 3-4 days of changing plans and times just to eventually tell him the truth?? I struggle with confidence so getting the courage to ask someone out can take a lot for me and a lot of other guys out there. Being told no sucks but it doesn’t hurt or make you feel ashamed. Being led on and having your time wasted sucks, it’s infuriating, and it’s just plain rude. A guy does that shit and he’s a douche an asshole a player and fuck boy. You guys do it and “oh it’s just a thing we do”
Edit: spelling I’m on mobile
