We are in NYC which is definitely a virus hotspot but he lives a block away (<5 min) from me. We had already met once about 1.5 months ago and have been talking since then, because of travel separation early on and now quarantine. It's been hard to maintain and build on the connection without having it fizzle out from oversharing this early on. We both felt an incredible spark then however, which is why we have been talking and connecting ever since, but with no end in sight, it's not looking very promising to maintain our current pace and not leverage the initial few days of building on it.
We both wfh and live with other roommates in late 20s. What do you think? Walking a respectful distance away should be okay, or nothing short of 6 ft and masks should be minimum (can see that getting awkward very fast). We have been talking over the phone and texting but both of us are very uncomfortable with video calling/digital dating.
At what point do single young people justifyably start throwing caution to the wind if this period stretches another few months or more? Late 20s.
