I don't want to generalise but I just get confused observing how guys I have come across act.
For example, it seems a guy can have a thing with a girl for MONTHS and still only 'like' her. Like I have a friend that is dating someone, they have been living together because of COVID for a few months and he just says 'yeah she's lovely'.
Whilst to me I see that guys tend to get crushes on girls that they know, they catch feelings for someone even when they haven't had any physical intimacy with them?
I've also noticed that guys tend to get caught up in a breakup for a serious relationship for like a really long time, going on from months to years.
I know feelings are illogical, and everyone is different, but does anyone have any insight? I mostly just get stumped with how guys can just disconnect from physical intimacy so easily, how guys shift from just liking someone to being in love with someone.
