After much dating, I've found that proposing a simple video call (or phone call at least) will likely save you lots of back and forth messaging.
Doesn't have to be long. Set aside a 15-20 minute video call with no particular objective in mind. Just chat about whatever comes up and then head out to continue with your day. This will allow you to get a quick feel to see how the conversation flows. Does it feel forced or effortless?
A bonus is getting to see the person in video, which is different than seeing photos or short clips.
So yea. A lot of you are probably making use of video calls, especially now. If you're not, I think that you should be. It will probably save you a lot of potentially wasted time talking to people and going on dates
