I've noticed a thing while trying to date online or in person. Women rarely if ever give compliments. When they do it's either a simple "you're cute" or it's almost dragged out of them.
Men on the other hand tend to compliment frequently. I know I fall into this category and they seem to love it. I feel like men do because if we dont hype them up, they'll leave us for someone who does.
Now I'm not saying women never compliment but it's just very rare. I've gotten my fair share of compliments through the years but they're not something that's common.
I believe it's a physiological thing because women want to be "chased" for a relationship but tend to not show much interest or give signs. But I think this drives a lot of good guys away because it's disheartening to never be complimented unless you're ridiculously attractive.
What are some of y'alls thoughts?
