I met a guy on a dating app, we talked for a few weeks, and finally hung out. Things were a little awkward at first, but shortly into the date, we were pretty comfortable talking to each other. At one point, I thought he was gonna kiss me cause he took a piece of gum and offered me one as well. I kept waiting for him to make some sort of move (he didn’t initiate any physical contact).
By the end of the date, I awkwardly went in for a handshake. He jokingly got offended and wanted a hug. We hugged.
Anyway, I know it’s probably my overthinking, but if a guy doesn’t kiss you after a seemingly good first date, does that mean he isn’t interested in you romantically? The first dates I’ve been on, the guys end up kissing me, which shows me they are attracted/interested.
What are your thoughts/experiences?
