Am I beginning conversation wrong? And why do I always have to start the conversation? I’m so lost on this.

Hi all,

I’m a 27M and this online dating is driving me crazy. Why do you swipe or like someone, yet never respond when I send the first message? Are my messages that bad? (I usually ask what they are always down for or where they would love to travel just to break the ice). Also, why do I always have to message first. On bumble I usually only get a “hi” or “hey.” If I do that y’all just don’t respond.

What am I missing here? I’d think if you aren’t interested in talking you’d just delete me, not leave me hanging. Ughhh sorry I’m just so frustrated.
