She [24F] and I [22M] have been somewhat friends for about a year now and have exchanged numbers and social media information
Recently we both became single and today, I decided to ask her out for a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, she is currently out of state and couldn't, unless I also happened to be in that state. I responded saying that it sounds fun and to let me know if she wanted to get together at some point when she is back.
As of now, she has not responded or offered an alternative date. Should I just leave the ball in her court, assuming this continues and there is no response? or wait and ask again later on when she is back?
