When a man uses emojis in his messages to you, as a woman, does that put you off?

As a man, I always worry that emojis can come across as not very manly or childish even and might put a woman off in a romantic setting. However, I also worry that a message with no emojis or anything will come across as too cold. I used to hate emojis but have grown to like the basic ones to add emotion to messages but if you are a woman, will you be put off by a man who uses emojis or do you actually quite like it?
