I'm in a long distance relationship with a guy, for already 7 months, and some days ago I had an argument with him about the fact that I started feeling that he was less attentive toward me (I need some texting throughout the day to feel safe in my relationship with him). He told me that wasn't true, that he felt the same as before, that he knew I would react this way, but that he was just busy with friends, holidays, etc. I said ok, and didn't really continue the topic although I felt not satisfied with the answer and felt more and more distant of him. So, after two days he sent me a photo of him with a girl, doing some activity together. I didn't show any reaction about the girl, asked him about the activity, and he started complimenting her, that she was very funny. Finally, I couldn't resist and asked him who she was. And he started explaining about the activity they were doing, leaving me with the doubt, on purpose. He could have just clarified it by saying she was a friend, cousin, whatever. I didn't continue insisting, but if I already felt distant that made me feel even worse. So, I felt it was a way to make me jealous without a reason, knowing that he had an argument two days ago and that it would worsen the things. So what do you think? Why has he started doing these things?
PD: he's a very calculative person, I've already noticed some of his patterns... When he feels jealous of me, he starts saying things that make him feel superior and put me down at the same time, so this is not new.
