So I met a guy through a friend. They’re not close, but he is her coworker and I met up with her after work when a few of them were having drinks and we ended up talking a lot. Our conversation was good and felt flirty, so I found him online and sent him a DM on IG asking him out. That was 2 weeks ago, the DM doesn’t say “read,” and the last thing posted on his account was early September so it is possible he hasn’t seen it. Also possible he declined it, since we don’t follow each other and I think a declined message doesn’t register as “read.”
That was a couple of weeks ago. I just opened my Hinge and his profile popped up. So...do I “like” it, assuming he didn’t get my message, or do I assume he ignored the message and thus shouldn’t “like” as that would be invasive if he already rejected me?
Awkward situation. What should I do?
