I (20F) matched with a guy (23M) who has the exact same personality as me, something I had never experienced before. On our first date at first it was almost awkward because we kept on cutting each other off and had a similar way of interacting. I usually have an outgoing personality and tend to dominate the conversation (bad habit I know) but he was as domineering as me and it completely threw me off. We both had the same strange mannerisms (doing weird voices, accents, sarcasm) and from conversation I learnt he was as reckless and impulsive as I am. We both study the same major (Politics) in college, which isn't such a common major (I study in US he studied UK) and I later found out his birthday was exactly one day after mine (we are both Capricorns). Whether you believe in astrology or not, I had never met someone who I felt was the exact same person as me and I'm interested to see people's experiences with this before. I'm curious as to whether it was compatible or not? I do know that my personality can be fun, but I also know I can be a pain in the ass, and I'm not sure I could date someone exactly like me. Shouldn't relationships be more based on complimenting each other?
