Does it bother a guy if the girl you are talking to or dating is smarter then you ?

I am (25f) wondering if it bothers a guy if a girl is smart or even smarter then you ? When I am talking to a guy and he asks what I do they kind just stop talking like it bothers them. I am not saying that I am super smart not at all. It just feels like a girl should only be so smart. That's why I am wondering does it really bother you guys?
