I don't have IG, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, whatever you can think of within that realm; I don't have it. I'm a veritable ghost online. I've recently been made aware by one of my female colleagues that for some women in 2020, this raises an eyebrow. Idk as I've always been a staunchly private person since pretty much childhood but i've put myself "on the market" recently after being out of the game, so to speak, for a number of years and man...the landscape is so different now! Bare in mind I'm just 30 so i'm decently computer literate and very in tune with my generation's social and sexual zeitgeist but after putting myself out there, the expectation of having an online presence seems to actually factor in to some women's criteria (not all, not even most probably but anecdotally speaking, this seems to be the case at least 50+% of the time)
Am I overthinking this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
