Basically this really close friend of mine chased me for so long and finally gave up and started a relationship. I noticed last summer I was starting to develop feelings for him (we spend a lot of time together and it’s always so fun), but I shut them down and started seeing other guys, although chemistry is pretty obvious and present when we are together.
He messaged me this week saying he was having problems with his partner.
- First, he says he is not convinced about the relationship because they dont handle well problems.
- Next day he says they are taking a break so she can clear her head up but that he knows that he wants to be with her.
- Yesterday, he told me he got jealous when he saw I was with another guy. I asked him why and then he said he could see his relationship was going nowhere and that he was still attracted to me but he didnt want me to feel like I was his 2nd choice.
- Today he asked me if Im okay because he thought his problems were affecting me more than he had wanted and told me I have to do my own life because he won’t have more news until wednesday.
My guess is Im indeed his 2nd choice, and he is coming to me when he feels she is going to quit him.
Can someone help me solve the mistery? because it’s hard to focus on dating the guy I was seeing with all that information in my head.
