I (22f) had a great first date with a guy (24m) last week. We hung out for 5 hours, went to the park, a couple bars, a long walk ect ect. It was super good and we both said we were having a great time. We planned to go to the beach today, but the weather has come around super cold and windy and rainy. He messaged saying it wasn’t shaping up for beach weather, and I asked if he has other ideas.
He said; to be honest I’m feeling very under the weather today, maybe it’s from footy training yesterday not sure. Would you wanna meet up later this week when the weather is better? Maybe go to that bar we were talking about?”
I said no worries and sounds good.
Do you think this is a red flag, or is it okay to cancel and reschedule given the circumstances? I only want to date someone that’s enthusiastic about me.
Also worth noting he’s made the effort to keep in touch since our last date, we both aren’t good at texting but we ask about each other’s days and he sends me photos of cool thrifted clothing he finds since he knows I’m into that stuff.
Anyways, thoughts?
