Hey guys I’m a female, never been in a relationship before (the idea of it scares me) I do have a lot of mental issues and some trauma and I wanted to work on me and fix my messy life before I let someone be in it. Somehow I start talking to some guy we were like friends and he’s so smart/funny/kind and has a lot of good qualities, I’ve told him about my mental struggles and why I’m not into dating because I felt that he’s into me & I’m into him as well but I was super clear with everything, we were talking for months and he developed feelings for me and told me he wants more, he wants to move in and also told me a couple of times he’s looking for marriage and stuff, anyways I got super overwhelmed and I kept telling him I’m not ready, I told u it’s not the time for a relationship, I’m still in therapy and I need to look after myself & still have a lot going on in my life, but he got super upset and I feel horrible because I like him. He said that he’s gonna help me to fix my life and stuff he’s so nice, but I feel he demands so much and I can’t offer him anything he needs at the moment :( I believe that we will be great together but not now, how can I tell him without hurting his feelings?!
