If a guy is texting you less frequently, does it mean he’s losing interest?

So I’m supposed to see this guy over the weekend. I figured he isn’t texting much as he used to because we’ve had set plans. But he doesn’t text me at all anymore. (Though he’s busy at work he’d always still texts throughout the day). We used to text throughout the day, frequently. Do you guys think he’s losing interest? Also is being too available makes them lose interest?
