So I (26F) have really picked up dating lately. I’ve been enjoying it and have found some pretty good guys that I enjoy spending time with. The one that seems to be the best fit for me (26M) that I get along best with has told me about his previous relationship. He was with her for 6 years dating and they were engaged for 1 year. He claims she just randomly decided to up and leave him one day and that’s pretty much all he’ll tell me about it. I’m not upset he doesn’t want to talk about it, it’s not my business, I just find it odd that he brought it up and his only explanation is that she randomly walked out. I feel like he’s purposefully leaving out something (or multiple things) he did to make her leave. I tend to overthink things, so I am just wondering if him having such a long relationship the ended so abruptly, according to him for no reason, is as big of a red flag as I’m thinking it is. I just feel like I’m definitely missing a big piece of information.
