What would you (men) mean if you used this word?

This guy (30m) and I (24f) were talking for about 6 weeks over text. Lots of sexting. He told me a lot of cute stuff like, "how are you my actual dream" yada yada. He lives a few hours away and he told me I have an open invite to come visit. So one weekend I did. The following week I told him I'd like to date him. He seemed to not be as talkative after that so I asked, hey do you want me to back off? He said, "lol I just don't have any mental or physical energy for anything, don't hate me", and that's it. Later on in the week when I asked if I could see him again he said he was just feeling "off" about it and again said "I'm sorry, don't hate me". And I said it's fine, I get it, can I text you next month when I move (it's just a coincidence that I was moving closer to him... but it may be a reason he felt off, idk). He said "can I think about it" and I said of course. (If not interested why not just say it, I don't get it)

A week later I decided to send a racey text for fun to see what would happen lol. He said "dear God you're dangerous". He used that word dangerous about half a dozen times before. SO QUESTION: MEN, what would you mean by this if you said this to a woman?

Other details: my friend thinks he has committment issues since he said he hasn't had a girlfriend in 3 years and seemed to back off when I mentioned dating.
