Does my experience with the dating apps make me unattractive or too picky?

I saw someone else post about her experience earlier and she’s close to my age, about guys friendzoning her. I can’t say my experience has been any better, I get guys interested in me but I don’t like them back. There’s sometimes no connection or just something about them that doesn’t peak my interest. But the ones I do like, they’re not interested or just want sex. I’m not the casual type so I don’t wanna be used as a booty call plus I really don’t want to settle with someone else just for the sake of not being alone. I am not one to usually message guys first, all my experiences except one time were a result of the guys msging me first. I am not lucky like other women who msg first, I don’t do it often but I really feel like that shouldn’t be make or break. When I did msg first, it didn’t go anywhere except one time and that guy was was a dick🤷🏻‍♀️
