He’ll compliment me on everything and I mean absolutely everything except my looks. He calls me cute, sweet, etc, but has never directly complimented my physical appearance. I don’t mean to sound like I’m up my ass or anything, but I’ve never had an issue with guys finding me attractive and verbalizing it. It takes emotional confidence and strength to express feelings to another person and maybe he’s afraid of objectifying me, I don’t know.
He never asks me out, but will spend a lot of time talking to me when we’re at a function with friends.
He draws/dabbles in digital art and has fully expressed that for my birthday he is going to make something for me.
I recently came back from a 2 week vacation where I only reached out to him once, and he expressed that he missed talking to me.
Says that he actively seeks my validation when it comes to his art.
We texted on Thursday and when I told him I’m gonna have a do-nothing weekend, he said to expect a message from him. He kept his word and reached out yesterday. We went back and forth for about 4 hours and the conversation ended with him saying that he appreciates my calm energy and that he doesn’t know how he got lucky with having me in his circle.
All of this and I still can’t get a read on him whatsoever.
