I know this might sound weird, but it might be helpful lol. Whenever you want to think about something your ex did that made you sad, angry, or hurt, just picture a new person walking into that scene and redoing it in the way that you actually deserve.
Example: Your ex mocked you for one of your insecurities, so imagine a different (and nicer) person coming in, pushing your ex to the side, and loving/appreciating every bit of you.
Whenever I start thinking about something that hurt me, I try to replace it with this instead, and it helps to remind me of what I deserve and can look forward to.
