Just had a heated conversation with my mom about men and cheating. Her view was that "every man cheats" and it's the new normal. So, she advises that if a man cheats, I should forgive him because II can never find one that does not cheat.
On the other hand, I described cheating as a total lack of respect for the other partner and that can not be overlooked.
As a 21F navigating this dating scene, i don't want to be delusional and make peace with the stated fact.
I really need your views.
