Is it rude to go on a date without money?

I’m a girl and at the moment I don’t have a lot of money, but I wanna have fun and go on dinner dates. Is it rude for me to go to a dinner date and order something small as I don’t have a lot of money? And I obviously don’t expect the guy to pay for me.
