I am a 22 year old male. I never had a girlfriend or went on a date. I am very shy and introvert and find it hard to make connections with new people. Or approach people.
When I read online for advices on how to get a girlfriend I often see this advise: “get out there and show yourself”.
I mean the advise itself is pretty simple, but to me those are empty words. I wish it was that easy, because I have a very hard time to just approach someone. A lot of things goes through my head. What if the other person doesn’t like me? Thinks I am weird or whatever. This entire proces is already making me feel tired.
However I also want to find a girlfriend one day, because that I am shy and introvert doesn’t mean I want to be alone my whole life. I appreciate good and valuable relationships with my family, friends or a possible girlfriend. However if I cannot approach women or go out I will never get a girlfriend whatsoever. I don’t have these large friend groups, but some good valuable friends.
I would really like advices and support from you guys. I really struggle with this, because I feel myself feeling miserable of the idea of never going to find anyone. Real life stories are really appropriate.
