So I made a tinder account last year atfter my over 20 years long relationship ended. I met a couple of people, but nothing lasted longer than 2 months. Last person I met decided to try again with their ex, and after that all 16 matches (yes, I started to count them) I got during 2 weeks unmatched me within a day of starting convo. I wasn't rude, obnoxious or anything, just trying to start about their pictures or something they said in their bio. It was in May I think and it I got so discouraged that since then I swiped left on everyone and I deleted all the likes I got.
So, today I thought maybe it would be good to try again after all these months so I said "hi, good evening, nice to meet you" to one person who liked me earlier today, and got unmatched when I was writing the second sentence. It really put me down. I don't know when will be the next time I'll decide to strike a convo with anyone. I'm pretty sure these things happen a lot, but how do you guys still want to meet or date anyone because frankly I don't.
