I met this guy at my job (different department) who I'm kind of interested in but I've never done anything with someone I've worked with before. But there's more: he asked me out. Several times.
What happens is he'll come up to me very boldly & ask me out on a date. I'll say yes. The day comes & nobody reaches out ie. Nobody will call, text, or anything. Two days later we'll see each other again & he'll ask me out again as if the original meeting never existed. This has happened at least 3 times.
So.... what do I do?
We have another date scheduled for Monday night & I actually want to go this time but now I can't tell if he's even serious since every time before there was never any follow-up nor do I wanna embarrass myself looking I guess desperate? by making the 1st step in communication outside of work since I'll still have to talk + see this guy several times a week.
My friends have said that he's not serious, shouldn't even bother with someone from my job to begin with, & I should move on but then why would he continue asking me out?
