Is a bad first kiss enough to write someone off?

I (24F) just got back from a second date with a person (26M) that I met a week ago via the apps. First date went really well, we have a lot in common and I was very excited about our second meeting. In between the dates we both texted often, not constantly but just the right amount for both of us.

At some point in our second date tonight the conversation slowed down at a great point for a kiss. He leaned in and so did I, and we kissed. I felt absolutely nothing, it was just a bad kiss maybe. I shrug it off and we hang out some more. Before we say goodbye we try again and I feel nothing. My first kiss as a teenager was better.

How important has a kiss been in determining if you want to see the person again? A part of me thinks that since everything else is great I should let it go and see him again but another part of me just thinks that life is too short to waste it on bad kisses. I'm really confused.

Side note: I haven't been with anyone in 2 years, and I highly recommend going out there and trying dating for anyone who is on the fence. I'm happy to make another post about that if anyone is interested.
