Please don’t put yourself down due to a lack of ‘matches’ on Tinder! It’s a scam.

I’ve been using Tinder on & off for a few years now, I’ve slowly been noticing how much more geared towards making money it is - rather than trying to find people dates.

I thought maybe I was just being paranoid or maybe I was just trying to comfort myself because I was barely getting any matches, it’s easier to blame it on the app rather than my own shortcomings, right? ..

So I conducted an experiment over the course of a month and I proved to myself that Tinder is nothing more than a money making scam. I upgraded to Tinder Gold, so I could see how many people had already liked me, it was 2, yip just 2 - so I used the boost function, that number increased to 25 within 30 mins. After that night, I noticed the number wasn’t moving again (I intentionally didn’t swipe right/left on anyone), I saw you can buy more boosts, so I dabbled, remarkably the number jumped up 51 within another 30 mins. I then let it go another week, I swear one more person liked me during that time - so what did I do? Bought another boost, and sure as hell, it jumps up to 87 within 30 mins. The cycle continued for the whole month (the cash was worth it to install some belief back in myself)

I am not going to undermine you guys by explaining what Tinder is doing to people, the tricks are evident. The message I want to give to you all, Tinder doesn’t reflect your value in real life, it is a for-profit app that is using clear marketing techniques to try and make money.

TL:DR - Tinder is just a for-profit app, I proved this to myself with an experiment over a month. Tinder doesn’t reflect your value to the dating world.
