I would like to preface this whole post with, I SUCK AT WRITING.... i don't expect forgiveness for such atrocities but do wish to warn so y'all may advert your eyes.
I(22M) like this girl(20F) lets call her Karen cause you know the internet loves Karen. A bit of background on this chick is shes super cool, very smart, beautiful, blunt. She seems confident in herself but really only has one friend and this has been her best friend(also my friend) for 6ish years. Probably known her for like a month. We text a little bit nothing too amazing but i know she does text her best friend(my friend) like everyday and I know for sure shes not into him. So i was talking to my friend and said i liked her and said i wasn't going to ask her out cause i didn't think she really liked me and he told me shoot your shot she has a personal rule that shell give and honest 24hr thought to it. And not to look to far into the texting thing because shes very reserved and introverted. Now when she and I are together we are like the best of friends always laughing joking smiling and joking around and it feels amazing but like i said earlier not so much in the texting department
So knowing this do i shoot my shot?
P.S. she wasn't at a function tonight for whatever reason so id have to ask her out over text since we don't meet up a lot and i would say something along the lines of "Yo, I'm not a big fan of asking out a girl over text but you weren't at game night yesterday so i couldn't do it in person, but i think your super rad and wanted to ask want to go on a date this weekend?"
