I (M,18) and her (F,17) have been good friends for almost 3 years by now, we do a lot of things together and talk to each other everyday.
Recently one of my friends said that he thought I had a crush on her, and this led me to start noticing a lot of things in her and to view her not only as a friend but as a woman.
She's one of the people I trust the most, I feel totally comfortable around her, she is always laughing at my jokes, but one of the things that are turning me off to make any advances is that ever since I met her 3 years ago she never showed any romantic interest for anyone.
She also isn't comfortable with almost any kind of skinship with anyone, normally I hold hands, hug, and kiss my female friends and until this day I hugged her only 4-5 times in 3 years.
Do you guys think that I should try to make an advance? Maybe try to have an honest conversation about this issue?
