Apologies in advance this is quite long but I’m seriously confused.
I’ve (21m) been hanging out with a new group of friends for a little over a month now and there’s this one girl (21f) who has been driving me nuts. I just can’t interpret what she wants me to do, especially since a lot of the times when we are together at least a little bit of alcohol is involved.
For some context we flirt a lot every time we hang out, almost always teasing each other she’ll always be like “you’re so annoying, I hate you” but always in a joking sort of way. A lot of the time I’ll find her looking at me and when our eyes meet we’ll kinda just hold our gaze like that for a few seconds and she’ll giggle or smile and look away or I’ll smirk and look away.
Another couple things that happened recently were that I went over to her house for a bbq and a a lot of the stuff mentioned above was going on as usual but there was also a lot of physical contact as well. We were playing some beer pong and she was my partner and she was constantly pressing herself against me and I would put my arm around her for a second or two but nothing more than that. At the end of the night we were all inside sitting on the couch just talking. It was quite late and her roommates had just gone to bed but she stayed out there for a little while and we had a pillow fight of sorts just throwing whatever was on the couch back and forth at each other. It was 4 am at this point and she tells me she’s gotta get to bed and I end up passing out on the couch.
Finally last night I was at her house again for like a game/wine night and it’s just her, her two roommates (both women, don’t know if that matters), and me. Her and her roommates were all drinking wine while I was sober because I had to drive home that night due to work the next day. Well it got to a point in the night where her roommates had started going to bed around 1230-1am and I had been sitting next to her watching her play apex legends or should I say trying to due to the wine lol. I ask her if I can give it a go and she lets me play. She was already sitting quite close to me but at some point she sorta just curled herself up against me and was just leaning on me while I played with her head practically on my shoulder and we were laughing and having a good time. She stayed like this for the next hour or so and would always sit right on top of me like that even when she got up and came back. If this would have been any other night I would have made my move but she was somewhat drunk and I was sober so I just let her sit there snuggled against me not wanting to take advantage of the situation. Long story short I’m driving home that night thinking wtf was does she want me to do or wtf is she trying to do?
