So the guy (also 18) I seeing just works a lot and is super busy. I get that and I don't really mind him not having too much time for me because work and your friends are important, but sometimes it feels like he doesn't have any at all.
Because of the whole lockdown stuff we can't really see eachother much or do stuff together and it doesn't feel very responsible to meet up. But is it too much to expect someone to want to text you about their day and how they're doing? Or even just a good night text honestly. He does text me everyday, but most days it's just a quick reply to something I said and that's it. I did bring it up once and he apologized for being a jerk but well didn't really stop...We do have a few nice conversation but it's separated by days of 'hmm...what was that about?' I really do like him but it kinda feels like he just likes the fact that someone is interested (in fear of sounding too much like a 14 year old). I feel desperate and maybe a little selfish with continuing this just because I like him.
I don't think I've described this situation properly and I don't think this is a big deal honestly, I just want some feedback. So, if you've read this far give it a shot. What do you think is going through his head and is this what a normal beginning of a thing is like?
