*Throwaway account, for obvious reasons\*
I've had a serious crush on my 11th grade English teacher since I entered her class. I'm a senior now, and I'll be graduating in a few weeks. She is most likely moving to another state come the end of summer, and I know I'll regret not telling her how I feel. I haven't ever felt like this about anyone of the opposite sex, let alone someone my age. I know I'm her favorite student, as she's told me this personally many times. She's also asked me to stay after class to help her with assignments multiple times. And even this year, we've still kept in touch (she wrote my college recommendation letters).
So, for our last assignment of this year's English class (different teacher), we were asked to write a letter to our favorite teacher throughout high school. I was thinking of confessing my feelings to her in this letter. Is this too risky/inappropriate, or should I go for it?
