I [19m] have been talking with a girl[19f] for a while since just before school ended in early march. It has been pretty relaxed convos, nothing super serious of anything. Today I asked her if she wanted to do hang out and do some hiking whenever the quarantine ends. She replied that it sounded fun but she wasn’t in the right headspace to make a decision like that and wanted to talk about it again when the quarantine is closer to being over whenever that may be. She also added that she didn’t wanna lead me on and said sorry.
I can understand this partly because she was in a pretty serious 4-year HS relationship up until this first year of college so maybe she still needs to get over it. I’m just a little lost on what to do next. Whether I should keep the casual snap convos up, snap her about it whenever there is a date on the quarantine end, or just move on? which is hard to do since I’m stuck at home with nothing better to do than think about this stuff all day.
If you want a little context, we met on a friday at a party. Really clicked with common interests and even made out that first night we met. The next night I invited her to another party and we clung to eachother all night eventually going back to my place where we slept with eachother. Had some pretty deep convos and had major common interests which was dope. The next week school shut down. So yes we have already done the deed which maybe indicates she was simply looking for something casual and I caught feelings.
So my question is: Would you follow up with her in the future when the quarantine dates come out? And if so how would you go about it until then?
