I met my crush at the university's choir, he was a sweet and fun guy to be around. I asked him out on a date on january and we have been on 3 dates since. We also talk alot and eventually got close as friends.
I got a couple days ago a message from him saying that he likes me but only as a friend and nothing more. He apologized for letting it take him 3 months to tell me. He also expressed his wish to stay friends with me, but only if I wanted.
I was heartbroken, I cried and bought myself pizza, I thanked him for being honest and told him that I value him as a friend and wanted to stay friends with him. He gave me a big hug when we met today because we were gonna go shopping. He didn't talk any more about it but he was really gentle.
I had amazing support from friends dear to me and I have come to terms with it. I'm moving on. But As weird as it sounds, I do not know the next step. I still am in the dating game and I want to find someone I like but also likes me as much.
