It may not be helpful, but I wanted to share some of the main reason that I (26F) would refuse to talk to someone online! I genuinely don't want to cause any offence, this is just my opinions but I find a lot of my single friends say the same thing! :) Would love to hear some of the biggest nos from other people, as I may be doing something that puts people off as well!

Profiles with only group pictures, especially large groups. If I can't tell who I'm talking to, even if its generally attractive people, I won't reply. This is 99% because I don't want the awkward conversation of "so, which one are you?". If you have group pics, please say which one you are, as most apps and sites allow you to add in a comment about the photos.

No photos at all, or only images of memes. Almost always there has to be a physical attraction to want to have a conversation.

Messaging something sexual straight off the bat. If you're talking to someone for a while and want to steer the conversation that way, that's fine, the person will let you know if they aren't willing to have that kind of a chat, but if I recieve a message that's sexual straight away, it doesn't matter how attractive a person is, I'm instantly not going to reply.

Over firmiliar pet names. Within the first few messages, someone messaging "baby" or something similar will instantly put me off. To me, a pet name is for someone you actually know, and it confuses me why so many people do this.

Photos with your ex. I get it, you might have some good photos with your ex... But personally, I don't understand why you would want them on your dating profile. This is even worse if its your ACTUAL WEDDING PHOTO. Please, just.. Dont do that.

"Will fill in later". If you don't want to put much info on your profile, that's fine! Fill it in with a joke or something short, but please, just at least put something there.
That's all I can think of right now, let me know if you feel the same way, or feel like I'm wrong! Would love to hear different opinions!
