So I just went on a date with a girl from Tinder that I matched with months ago. We’ve been talking here and there, and she drove an hour and a half to see me today. We’ve both strictly been in self-quarantine so we figured that we were fine to see each other.
I’ve been single for over a few years now. I’ve dated girls here and there, but have had nothing in common with them whatsoever and it’s just led to feeling like there’s no one out there for me. I’m good with girls in general and am pretty attractive, but nothing has clicked.
The tinder date went extremely well. We both microdosed on acid and went on four amazing hikes, one to a resevoir with amazing views, a wooded area with bridges in the trees, a lighthouse island, and the beach to see the sunset. We had almost everything in common and our conversations flowed so well that it took me back a bit.
At the first point, about an hour of hiking together, she asked what I was on tinder for. I just told her that I’ve been single for a while but was just either feeling a new relationship or seeing where things went. She agreed and we carried on. While we kept having a good time, she was calling me her new ‘friend’ and whatnot which kind of gave me mixed signals. When we went to the beach, everything was perfect and I should’ve made a move, but just didn’t because of COVID-19 lol. When we finally got to her car at the end of the day, I went in and gave her a hug and wished her a good ride home. She said something like “does this mean we’re friends now?” in an excited voice and I just let out a “yeah” lmao.
I just haven’t connected with someone like this for a while and we both had an amazing time. Where should I go from here? She said she wants to hang out with me again soon but I don’t know if she wants to pursue a friendship, relationship, or continue to feel things out.
