I've recently been looking to get into the dating scene after being out of it for a few years but since I'm quite introverted and shy one of my friends said i should try and use Tinder since it worked really well for her. I figured I might as well give it a shot and downloaded the app but when I was making an account it asked me to write a bio. I have no idea how to write a bio. I googled some tips and the results boiled down to "try really hard to be flirty and funny" and "whatever you do, DON'T BE BORING" but I'm just not such an flirty and out there kinda guy. I want girls to swipe, obviously, but i don't want to lie a story together to get people to swipe. On the other hand I'm scared that i might sound to nerdy or weird or too boring.
So i guess what I'm asking is: How do you write a Tinder bio and what do you put in there? Are there some essential things you should say? Do you have any tips? Any advise is welcome.
